Nursery Visits
Each year during the spring months,
Grayson County Master Gardeners have busy weekend schedules. We present
formal talks, answer horticulture related questions and pass out Texas
Cooperative Extension literature on horticultural topics at the following
locations within Grayson County: Lowe's in Sherman, Twin Oaks Nursery in
Denison, Wal-Mart in Denison, Henry's in Sherman, and Green Acres in Van Alstyne.

Nancy Grella describes the best methods for planting trees and shrubs. Barb Grisham passes out literature and answer questions with several 2006 Master Gardener interns, Phyllis Coker, Debbie Perry, Judy Crawford, Judy Fisher, Bettie Howard and Phyllis Vaughn at Lowe's in Sherman. Tatiana Nass gives advise to an interested gardener at Lowe's. Darlene Cottier, Richard Green, Richard Bayless and Norma Walker prepare to analyze soil samples at Twin Oaks in Denison. Jim Rogers provides information to a Twin Oaks customer.
