Activities: (1) conducted research on Indian desert plants, (2) presented three special lectures describing my research.
Visiting Scientist, Royal Veterinary and Agricultural University, Department of Horticulture, Copenhagen, Denmark (April-August 1988). Funded by the Danish Research Academy. Activities: (1) conducted research on the influence of triazole growth regulators on Danish floricultural crops, (2) taught a short course on photosynthesis and vegetative regeneration to about 20 advanced undergraduate and graduate students (approx. 12 lectures), (3) gave special lectures at the Glasshouse Crops Research Institute (Aarslev, Denmark) and the Agricultural University of Norway (Aas).
Project Development Visit, Biological Research Centre, Hungarian Academy of Sciences, Szeged, Hungary (Sept. 1992). Funded jointly by the U.S. National Academy of Sciences and the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
