Conventional Herbicide
Treatment: Dual 8E (1.5 pts/acre) was
applied pre-emerge to the conventional section on the day after planting (24
April). On 9 May, Fusilade (0.7
pints/acre) was applied to control grasses.
On 7 June, Poast (1.5 pts/acre) and Reflex (1 pt/acre) were applied.
Roundup Herbicide Treatment:
Roundup and Reflex were applied at 1 pint per acre (each) to the RR section
only of the trial.
Insect Control: On 1 June, Asana (0.5 pts/acre) and Lorsban 4E (1
pt/acre) were applied. Asana was also
applied on 7 June and both Asana and Lorsban were applied on 26 July to control
grasshoppers.
