You're invited to the Dallas Center
The Texas A&M AgriLife Center at Dallas invites you to the public open house for our newly renovated campus at 17360 Coit Rd. Click here for info about our grand opening ceremony.
The free festivities take place Wednesday, Oct. 9 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Follow campus signs to the Water and Land Resources Building on arrival. Scroll down this page for a printable campus map.
This day of educational activity includes scheduled walking tours of our new campus. Information booths at the event will showcase the breadth of urban agriculture research and extension initiatives taking place right here in Dallas for a better, healthier more sustainable future.
AgriLife’s expert scientists and extension professionals will be on hand throughout the day to answer your practical questions about all things related to agriculture in cities, urban trees, water and land resources, and healthy living.
Get a first-hand look at turfgrass demonstration plots and plant research laboratories, which investigate the properties of plant resource efficiency, productivity, and resilience. Walk among a collection of historic trees and other Texas native and adapted species planted during the last 75 years of agricultural activity at the Dallas center. Peruse residential and commercial installations for ideas on implementing exciting new practices at your home, business, and campus.
We hope to see you at the open house, and welcome to the Dallas center!
